'Maze Runner 3' Director Wes Ball Confirms Production Start, Dylan O'Brien Still Not Filming 'The Death Cure' [PHOTO]
It looks like "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" will finally resume filming. Director Wes Ball has been teasing some awesome images from the set of the highly anticipated sequel and has confirmed that production is about to start. But why is there no sign of Dylan O'Brien on the set of "Maze Runner 3"? Is the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star still too busy shooting for his other projects?
Last year, it was announced that "Maze Runner 3" will resume production in February 2017. Most fans have been worried that there have been no updates on the Dylan O'Brien film even though the month is almost over. Luckily, Wes Ball has revealed that his crew is already hard at work on the sequel's new set in South Africa. In addition to that, the director of "The Death Cure" may have revealed when the movie will start filming.
Wes Ball has recently posted a mind-blowing photo on Twitter revealing one of the sets of "Maze Runner 3" being built. The director of "The Death Cure" stated that the creation is possibly "the biggest" his crew has worked on for the sequel. Not surprisingly, Dylan O'Brien is not in the image, but Ball revealed that the movie could start principal photography in "T-minus 3 weeks."

The "Maze Runner 3" director has posted the picture back in February 13, which could mean that the film will resume production in the first week of March. But what has caused the delay? Some believe that Dylan O'Brien might be finishing up on other projects like "American Assassin" and "Teen Wolf" Season 6. Nevertheless, fans can rest assured that the star of "The Death Cure" will be back to work on the Wes Ball movie, which is scheduled for release on January 12, 2018.
